Introducing an innovative and wearable addition to our portfolio, Oura Ring. See, we highly value products designed for a better life, so investing in Oura makes perfect sense. Oura combines advanced sensor technology and a minimal design that sets them apart from everyone else (it’s literally a ring) with an app to deliver personalized health insights straight from your body. Today, the company is announcing a $100 million Series C.

The round led by The Chernin Group and Elysian Park also includes Temasek, JAZZ Venture Partners, Eisai, and existing investors. The new investment values the company at $800 million, according to Forbes.

Oura plans to invest the new funds in R&D and hiring. In this critical time, we need a different kind of health care experience — one where people have more insight, understanding, and control of their wellbeing. This is exactly what Oura is delivering, and we love contributing to such a significant cause.
